Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival on 22nd Feb

Rescheduled date in Glasgow that got cancelled due to the FLOODING at the end of last year will now happen on May 19th

And Also I will be doing a new material/scratch/glorious shambles/work in progress show at the Leicester Comedy Festival on 23rd Feb at the Belmont at 7pm and its quite rightly only £3/2! Come along and enjoy the wreckage!

I’m in Cheltenham tonight, Bath – Friday and Barrow in Furness Saturday. Nearly halfway through the tour – the car is like a bin inside, but I’m having a great time. Come see me doing standup, with bits of car eaten sandwich stuck to my lap in a town near you soon! Xx

In other news…

I’m feeling vaguely triumphant right now as I’ve just successfully shaved the dog’s back end where all his hair had become matted. A genuinely horrible experience for all of us, so we’re off for a walk now to blow away the cobwebs and any straggly hairs still clinging on his arse area.

Just another classic chapter in my jet-setting showbiz life!

Just a quick one to let you know that Justin Moorhouse’s new series starts today in Radio 4 at 11.30AM for six weeks. He wrote it and stars in it and very kindly gave me a part in it too. It was recorded in Manchester and was great fun and it’s well worth a listen, so tune in folks! Put your feet up at 11.30, you deserve it, it’s Monday! Or pretend you’re working and listen to it on your headphones whilst pretending to talk into a phone!

Freak Scheduling Telly Carpetbombing to occur tomorrow Wed 18th July 2012

Hello there,

Tomorrow night [Wed 18th July 2012] My stupid face will be peering right down the lens at you on 3 different shows, 2 of them at the same time!.

At 8.30 I have a cameo role in Coronation street. It was immense fun to be involved and I share a scene with one of the smoothest men to ever walk planet earth.

Then at 10PM on Channel 4 I’m on A Short History of Everything Else, with Griff Rhys Jones, Marcus Brigstocke, Charlie Baker and Grace Dent, which should be a good laugh and I hope you enjoy it.

At the same time I’ll be on ‘Olympics most amazing moments’ BBC3 10PM spouting opinion and half baked theories about people doing things my body couldn’t even dream of doing, even after a full engine strip down and rebuild.

After that I’ll continue to be on ITV1′s Mad Mad World on saturday nights. 10.45PM I think every saturday until 11th August.

After that I shall undergo full facial reconstructive surgery based entirely upon rude comments people [obviously not you] will inevitably make about the shape of my face for being on their telly and then post photos of my new Frankenstein-esque appearance. On second thoughts I won’t I will take a picture of a potato wearing a baseball cap and put that up instead.

meantime I’ll keep scribbling away for my Autumn tour which I CAN’T WAIT FOR!!! and hopefully see you at one the dates.
